Upper Back & Head Massage

Having learnt the techniques used in Indian Head Massage (Champissage) I have developed my own approach to create a relaxing massage which covers the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and face (optional).

Champissage has been practised for thousands of years, originally used widely in Asia to combat daily tension and stress. The massage is ideal for any tightness in the neck and shoulders, working therapeutically over the muscles and pressure points helps to induce relaxation to the muscles.

It is common to hold a lot of tension in the occipital area (base) of the skull which can cause headaches.  With soothing flowing movements and a great friction technique, we can literally rub away this tension.

This is a lovely stand-alone treatment but also makes a wonderful addition to a Reflexology session.

“I highly recommend Sarah! It’s always such a friendly and enjoyable experience and I always leave feeling so relaxed. I’ve been visiting Sarah for over a year now for tinnitus and I can not thank her enough for all the help she has given me. I’ve found it so effective at calming my nerves and mind which in turn has really helped with my ears.”
